Let’s get virtual

In recent years, companies jumped on server virtualisation to halt server sprawl and boost utilisation, and the results have been impressive. Companies have been able to increase server utilisation, increase management efficiency, and reduce costs while continuing to meet service level agreements (SLAs).

But the success of server virtualisation isn’t enough. Business needs to virtualise the entire technology infrastructure; not only servers but storage and network too. To get the full benefits of IT virtualisation, every change made in the virtual server environment needs to be reflected similarly in virtualised storage and network environments.
